    Whats your coilpack resistance?

I think I've tested about 3 sets of used oem coil packs and none of them seemed to be within the fsm spec (.6-.9ohm) so far I've gotten: 1 set with 1.3ohm, 1 set with 1.1 ohm and a set with 1.0ohm.

the 1.3 set was toast and the 1.1 were running fine so are they all just on their way out or is my multimeter off by a little bit?

Has anyone actually measured a .6-.9 resistance from their coil packs? cause from what i can find everyone's is hovering around 1.1-1.3

You're crappytire meter is the problem. Get a buddy who has a fluke or something. I'm sure they're fine. Use em.

Just cause your meter is reading good doesn't mean the coils aren't bad. I have some bad coils that failed when they got hot and were fine when cooled down again. They do also develop loose connections at times.
