BorgWarner EFR 8374, anyone running one yet? recommendations??

Hi i am thinking i am gonna run a BW EFR 8374 on a 6boost manifold i bought last week.

its a non WG divided T4 6boost manifold so i am kinda stuck running a BW EFR as its the only med sized turbo that is IWG as far as i know. Anyone know of another IWG divided T4 Turbo???

    my question is, what turbo?

I want a turbo that will hit hard really low in the rpm range, say 2500-3000 rpm and pull right to redline. HP expectations 550 awhp

my build is listed in my sig, any recommendations of turbo size
    Trust T618Z,Carrillo Rods,CP Pistons,Tomei 280 10.8 lift ProCams, Tomei Spec C Springs, N1 Block, ARP, ATI, ATL, Bosch 044,Sard 800cc,PFC,Z32 etc.......

FS: tomei 2.6 full counter crank, reground/nitrated.

You can always bring the manifold to a fabricator and get them to add the wastegate outlets out of the two ports.

A single boosting at 2500-3000rpm to pull t'ill redline with 550awhp, thats got to be one insane turbo.Seing that you have some headwork done you might be able to reach your goal with the borgwarner.

Are you planning to make 550awhp on pump gas?

Try getting a hold of Geoff at Full-race .I spoke to hime for a while last year and he's tested out many bw units on his personal rb26.

I'll be getting one spring time, not the EFR just the turbo itself replacing my t04r
550 with your mods should be possible, especially when the turbo can handle 45psi boost

I'd say reaching 550whp with EFR 8374 is not a problem, but you need to try very hard to make it reach full boost before 4500rpm.

I plan to run a 7670 in the spring if we see them on the street. I had one on order for most of last year but never saw it..

ive got the 8374 .92A/r and a Full-Race manifold coming in, but theres like a eleventy billion month wait on the 8374, so i probably wont be able to tell you what its like till the summer.
