    PowerFC question regarding MAP harness

I just got my new PowerFC D-jetro in the mail today. After opening it I realized I might have a problem. The MAP harness only has one MAP sensor and one intake air temp sensor (IAT). Doing some quick research it appears this is for cars with a single MAF like a RB25. Can I make this work? Or do I need the dual MAP sensors to deal with the individual throttle bodies on my RB26? I bought it from a private seller so returning it isn't an option, my mistake for not looking at the pictures better I guess.

P.S. It's all brand new in the package, so if someone wanted to trade me their RB26 dual MAP setup for my brand new MAP/IAT RB20/25 setup that would be great!

My PowerFC and commander is for a RB26. It's just the MAP/IAT harness and sensors that are for a RB20/25.

for the rb26 you NEED both map sensors. I believe they tap into cylinders 2 and 4 on the throttle bodies. Without both map sensors the pfc will go into safety mode. for the 26 you do not need the apexi iat or iacv sensors just the map sensors

After doing some of my own research about this question i found that many people only run one map sensor. They run it off the balance tube where the fpr is.

If you are going to run two, i read in a power fc manual that its best to tap them into thr 3rd and 4th intake runners before the throttle bodys.

Please dont swear by this info as its been a little while since i last read the pfc manual, and i could be mistaken.

But i do know there are people on the uk gtr forum that only use one of the two map sensors.

    Good luck!

Hmmm. Well I guess I need to do some more research then. Using one map sensor will save me a lot of money not having to buy a second sensor and Y harness.
