R34 VSS, Does the electric sender send the pulse info???

I have a R34 Transmission in my R32, i have no dash anymore so no mechanical speed meter either.

my r34 transmission has an electric speed sensor -- two wire.

and i just bought a pivot speed meter to display my speed, my question is --- does the r34 sensor output the pulse data for the meter or does the meter convert some type of raw signal into pulses

I have seen people use the R32 speed cable with R34 tranny. Maybe that's a better option?

i don't have a gauge cluster anymore. so no mechanical speed-o

r34 uses an electronic sender so if thats all i need, i.e. no control or conversion unit.

then i can just add a Pivot Speed Meter and i am in business.
