Weird Button In R32 GT-R

this is a button i came across in my R32 GT-R while i was installing my new Carbon fiber door sills.....i have no idea what it does....

never seen it before. aftermarket for sure. just pull off the pannel and see if its wired to anything. also what is the point of carbon fiber door sills? seems like bad spot to put cf

there are wires behind the panel but i need to get in there with a better flash light. the cf door sills are because i was bored.....they seem pretty durable tho...

Yea weird. Pull the panel and trace the wires. Let us know what you find out.

could be a valet switch if you have an aftermarket alarm

ive played around with the switch while the car was running and while the car was off....if it has something to do with while the car is in motion then ill have to wait until spring.....ill try and trace the wires tomorrow and keep you guys posted as to what i find

Yeah you'll just have to see where they go, possibly an auto start - there would be brains under your dash

or maybe even a 4wd drive switch to switch back and forth between rwd and awd
