    Changing Knock sensors rb26

So im sourcing a set of knock sensors for my 26 and will be then attempting to swap them out with the motor in the car. from what i have found online they are both under the intake manifold in the block. anyone every swapped them? best way to get at them? any pointers?

When i dropped my engine in last summer, i forgot to put the knock sensors on so i had to do so with the engine in. I think for the front knock sensor, i just put my arm under the intake, but for the rear, i couldnt get through all the ****, so i had to remove my starter, and go up through there. heres a picture of exact locations.

removing the starter sucks while the motor is in. ive done it a few times for tranny swaps and its not fun.
