Need help with GTR manual EN245 8.1

Can anyone please better explain what this is saying? Is it that the fuel system WILL cut out once you have held the revs at 2000 for the second time, and if it doesn't repeat the whole process, or just repeat the parts from once it's warmed up?
Can this correct a high idle condition? Should this be done when replacing the TPS?

From what i can tell it's to check for the operation of the fuel cut, I don't know why you would need to since the manual isn't very clear on what sensor you're checking.
It wouldn't correct a high idle. Idle adjustments are made with the idle screw on the AAC valve (check EN-10 in the manual).
If someone played with the throttle linkage like the previous owner did on my car. I had an idle of 2000rpm and adjusting the linkage fixed it for me.
You would not need to do the steps on 8.1 when replacing a tps because the test makes you bypass the signal.

Thanks. But the screw on the aac valve is all the way in. The linkages were set as described in the manual.Code 55 is all I get.Must have something to do with Air Cond, lots of testing can be done there, as per the manual on EN237.
Previous owner gummed up heater core with stop leak, so hoses are by-passing core, in a loop.
Your help is appreciated.
