Boost gauge problems

So nothing major but i have the Apexi EL boost gauge and its annoying me because the back light stopped working when i turn on the lights but the needle still lights up... it flickers sometimes to which is odd iv checked out the wiring with no loose looking wires... also it has a high pitch buzzing pretty much all the time now... at first it was only when the needle was at idle pressure but now it makes different pitches at different boost pressure. Its really annoying is there anyway to fix this or is it screwed? its electrical also.

definitely internal failure
could try take apart and tinker lol

haha iv thought about it a few times already! i was hoping someone else had an idea besides or had tinkerd away already and could give me some pointers
