Cold Lake Cruisers Show n Shine - 2nd Place Import!

There was a local car show here in Cold Lake today that drew about 100 vehicles. The emphasis was on classic cars and muscle cars, but all types of cars/bikes were allowed into the show which made for some nice variety. I didn't get too many pictures since the noon sun made for bad lighting, and I don't know classic cars too well.

The import category included all foreign vehicles: German, Japanese, etc. There were probably about 12 or so in this category, with about 9 of them being tuner cars. This was the first time I've entered my car in a show and I ended up taking 2nd place import losing to an old Datsun roadster No pics of my own car, but you guys know what it looks like anyway.

Datsun Roadster that took 1st place import

This guy brought 3 cars: a MR2 turbo, NA 300zx, and a Mercury Meteor

A pair of old 1930's jeeps restored to full army colours complete with .50 cal machine gun and comms equipment in the back.

This was probably my personal favourite of the show: 1967 Camaro. He even let me sit in it!

    WOO!

Oh I also represented GTRC at this thing lol.

The Camaro have 'Toban plates on it? If not, there's one almost identical here in Winnipeg.

    That Camaro is bad ass.
Datsun Roaster is mega rare, even here in Japan. Any engine room photos of that gem?

It's an annual show for the region. Lots of oil workers and retirees.
