The 911 is one of the few cars, other than my Skyline, that really make me excited. There are many with the performance and handling characteristics of either, but very very few with the pedigree, intimate connection with the driving experience, and relative accessibility.
Adds 911 GT3 RS 4.0 ownership to bucket list.

I hate how they all look the same throughout the model range. Carrera GT & 90s Carrera RS with whale tail ftw.
    Double track drift, yo.

I was fortunate enough to spend two weeks in that region of South Africa. Those roads are incredible! Very little traffic, smooth, and very fast... just have to watch out for the damn Baboons!!!

From what I've read of the reviews, the 991 iteration provides some substantial dynamic improvements when you compare it model-for-model with previous generations. You have to love a company that continually evolves it's product, even if there may not be a huge cosmetic distinction between the generations.

Exactly, with the 911 each new model gets a cosmetic update to go with the times, but the technology used and the performance of the car are always evolving. I like how they stick with the same basic design with each new model of the 911, I also love the "refined" look that all Porsche have.
