After the recent site update, I can't seem to edit any posts that are more than a week old. Is this a glitch or was it intended?

Makes it very difficult to update for sale threads

I think there has always been a 5 minute limit on editing posts.
I've adjusted it to be 2 weeks now, so that should give you more time to edit.

What about the original post though? Is there anyway to allow just the first post to be edited anytime? (Such as the price on an item for sale and whatnot)

it used to be unlimited time to edit. what about project threads? when you wanna go back and edit say... the first page, some build threads have table of contents.

agreed trying to maintain for sale threads updating becomes impossible. Think this will result in many more unusable threads in the for sale section and many more brought from the dead

Good ideas guys, the edit time limit has been lifted. I extended the edit time on thread titles as well.
