there was a subie in white at the end though wasn't there? I think he got confused after the flames burned his retinas.

Pointing out that someone fails as a car enthusiast because of a car manufacturer name error (he knew what he meant, just brain shnarted ) is like pointing out little spelling mistakes on every post and calling that person illiterate.

The EVO 8 (the crazy one at the start) and the EVO 6 (the one with the flames) are both built by norris designs out of the UK. With the VIII they actually rotated the engine 90 degrees and put a GTR drivetrain behind it.

I'm just guessing but I think the flames on the EVO6 is the anti-lag

Could be just unburnt fuel that collected in the tip of the one pipe during hard cornering.
Those time attack events look like some crazy racing though, all the cars on the track at the same time doing time attacks? O_o
Would be an awesome sight to see in person.
