    GTS-t as daily driver?

Well i'm looking at buying a GTS-t. This would be my first and only car and my daily driver so I have a couple of questions. How is the reliabilty on these cars? What kind of gas mileage does it get? Can I run 91 octane through it? Can I drive the car hard or go to some AutoX events without risking braking something?

If you have never had a car before I am not sure that this is for you, especially if you dont want to work on the car. But for a daily driver it isnt too bad. Myself and number of people on this board use their cars as daily drivers. Although it is a little harder on gas than other cars you can buy. (average 350-450km to a 60L tank, some people get more and some get less) I run 94 in my car, but I think I have talked to a few people that run 91 that have said it's ok, but im not sure. There's always octane booster

As for having to work on your car:
-you Must do preventative maintenace (oil changes, filters and such)
-the car is 15 yrs old so some things will break, but the condition of the car and how you drive determine how fast/what breaks
-if you start autocrossing you will break things, doesnt matter what car
-working on these cars are no different than any other car out there, you just have to wait a bit longer for parts and pay a bit more
-there are tons of instruction manuals on this forum and many others that are very thorough

    hope this helps,

    Adam

If you plan on driving a skyline all year you are going to need some excellent tires for the winter. My car has summer tires and I can't even get it out of the street when it snows

hmmm I guess I could take it easy the first couple of years I have it until I have the cash to afford to replace things once they break. So if I were to drive this car with a heavy foot what would be the first thing to go on it? And yes I would buy winter tires and put a balast in the rear.

I wouldn't get this for your first / learning to drive car. I would start off with some **** box civic or similar.

Umm First thing to break? Your bank account.

its a 15 year old car so things are bound to go on it. There is no thing that can go first every time
