    745i wheels on an R32

Has anyone ever done it? I was thinking about since reps are pretty cheap on Kijiji and with some stretched tires they look really good. Sizing is 19X9 and 19X10 with around 20mm offset. They look awsome on this S14:

I was thinking powdercoating them flat black would help them blend in a bit since I am not sure 19" is going to be too big.

    Any opinions?

I was thinking of this too. Some nice M3 or M5 rims would also look nice. I tried my friends E39 M5 rims on and they fit pretty flush. He had 275s on the rear.

I think 19's will look a bit off. Also, I'm pretty sure the 745i has a different bolt pattern, something weird like 5x115 so you'll probably need an adapter. It would be interesting to see these on an R32...
Looking for cheap parts? supguyex (Jon) is parting out his car. Good prices, good guy.

^^^^Yes they are 5X120 so adapters are needed but they are readily available. I think that is there is not tire showing on the top (or very little) it should look awsome. Just gotta make up my mind if I want to try it. I think I would run a 215/35 front and 245/35 rear for perfect stretch.

19s look way too big on an R32 IMO. Besides all that extra weight will have a negative impact on your braking, excelerating and handling. I've got 18s on mine and I almost wish I had gone with 17s but I often run my car on the track.

The only problem with any decent looking bimmer wheel is that its 19". My dad has a set of 18s as winters and they would look pretty fly

^^^^That was my idea the whole time, pretty much exactly what I invisioned. I was going to do overfenders as well if I needed it....I also need to get some new coilovers since the Apex'i ones I bought last winter are bottomed out and only have slight tire tuck. Will Megans go low enough or do I need to pick up something like Tein drift specs?
