Nistune converts stock R32 ECU, so it's like a stock ECU in R35GTR, where it can be reflashed by consult port that's located under dash on drivers side. But Nistune does it in realtime, so change figure in cell on ignition map (on laptop), engine responds straight away to the change. Nistune requires consult cable (connects laptop to car), Nistune tuning software, laptop, wideband (connects to laptop).

Nistune also requires a hardware "daughterboard" to be installed in the ECU....

You best bet is probably to get a powerFC and use that. Its a lot more powerful then Nistune, and you have a spare stock ECU incase anything goes wrong.
By the time you get your ECU "Nistuned" you will have spent almost as much as a used powerFC. You dont NEED a hand commander but its nice to have one.

    Also dude....:
    - sum
    - biger
    - injecters
    - doun
    - exost
    - yelowe
    - walbero

just get your stock ecu chipped and retuned. it is by far the cheapest and easiest. a power fc is very expensive for the rb20 and hard to find, plus unless you know what your doing with it there is no point. alot of very powerful skylines just have a chipped ecu for their tune.

Please for the love of god, get your sources right.

How much do you think Nistune is? Also if you tune with Power FC, your stock ECU won't be useful for when "things go wrong" as it can't run the mods he mentioned.

I think you are just running off on assumption on your thoughts on Nistune.

Johnnyjohnny, good point about the daughterboard, thanks.

Chipping stock ECU is good if your not going to modify the engine past the mods you have listed.

From what I understand, PowerFC is faster than stock R32 ECU, because it has onboard boost control (same processor speed, etc as stock R33, R34 ECU with onboard boost control, etc). R32 ECU doesn't have onboard boost control, so it doesn't need the extra processor speed, etc to run multiple things at same time. R32 ECU processor speed is faster than engine, so enough for most applications, even up to 1100hp.
