transmission?

hey guys
so how much power can a rb25 transmission hold??
and will it bolt up to a rb26?
and before i get blasted i did search, i did use google, i only got the engine power limit stock

yes the rb25 transmission will bolt to an rb26, If you have a neo tranny you may have to convert it to a push type clutch or visa versa. Rb25 transmission has the same internals as a 300zx and i believe is also the same as a gtr and is good for at least 700 hp from what i've read.

in the spring im going to be building a datsun 240z.
i like the rb26 over a rb25 mainly because it's twin turbo stock

this is true... but its the S2 rb25 tranny's with the strengthened internals
