should i get it or not?

Hi, im new to this site so dont be too harsh loool. but anyways i am looking for a skyline, basically something cheap that needs a little work since i got low budget at the moment. the other day i was going through craigslist and found a r32 gtst. heres the new link to it he lowered the price a little bit. http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rc...169259745.html . As u can see its got a little bit of front damage, i dont really mind it cuz i can replace the bumper n the hood. so i tell the guy to start the car and it started fine, now heres the weird part. NONE of the electricals work inside power windows, heat console, tacho, dash lights, tail lights, head lights, wipers nothing at all. Only the aftermarket gauges work. Anyone have any clue to what the problem might be? Second problem the turbo doesn't spool up till redline so im guessing the turbo is gone. i am really confused at the moment. i mean i can lower the price down a bit but i don't want it costing me a whole lot after for me to get it back on the road. any help or suggestions much appreciated, thanks .

Offer $2500. I would. If it needs more than a couple things than its a fair offer imo and go up from there. but go and check it out and then you can go from there.

sounds like a lemon and a half, lots of work and with the interior electrical you'll be looking for lots of little peices here on the forum...although doable you'll probably need to replace quite a bit!

But most of my friends told me not to get my skyline and i didn't listen and it turned out to be an awesome decision for me!

So do what you feel best and what you think you can handle!

Lots of the domestic sales have lost alot of value in the past yr or two. Its more of a buyers market now and your in control. I have had some pretty good deals in the past and I always start a little lower than what i think its worth and go from there. Some people really really need the money for other stuff. And there are a ton of cars out there and... it is winter. With that said, there are only going to be more cars and possible better options to go with as time goes on.

I do feel bad for the importers tho. Lots of them bought lots of stock in 2007 post and still trying to sell. Lots of them just want them gone and if you talk right its easy to find a happy medium so you both go home happy.

dont waste ur money n invest in something worth it and save urself all the kickin andswearn and the time u will waste on a POS skyline....thats just me unless ur ballin n have so much time to fix a broken car....double ur 2500 money and buy something better...remember parts for skylines aint available all the time n most hard to get are new OEM parts that will make all the electrical components work....

but in the end its all up to u...we just here to give u a heads up
