R32 GTR Wheels VS. R32 GTS Wheels with Spacers??

    Hey guys,

just looking for some advice on wheels. I really like the look of the stock R32 wheels but i am not sure if it would be worth it to keep the stock GTS wheels and run spacers to push them out a bit or go for the GTR wheels. My stance situation on the car is that it is lowered 1 inch in the back and 1 and a quarter inches in the front from stock. How much wider are the GTR wheels over the GTS and if i went with GTR wheels, would i need to roll the fenders?

    Any advice is great! Thanks!!!!

Scrap the gts wheels. They are skinny and have no dish
Atleast the gtr wheels are wider and have a better look to them
Don't get spacers for gts wheels. That is instant fail
Gtr wheels will look good regardless
But if I were you, treat that girl to a new pair of shoes, she deserves it
18" to fill the arches and based on offset, something in the 8-8.5" width

R32 GTR wheels will fill the wells out nicely if its stanced for track use .. AKA not running insane amounts of camber.. My HCR is flush at al 4 corners with -1.3 in the front and -1.15 in the rear camber.. No spacers. I may run 5 mil spacers and pull the rears a bit though..

Either way the GTR wheels are much nicer, not only because they're wider and look better, but are forged and only 15 lbs each. GTST wheels are about 18 lbs each and smaller in size.

Yea i defs like the idea of the GTR wheels better! Marc, i'm actually running the GAB Coilovers that i got from you. How did those sit with the GTR Wheels? Oh, and P.S. i forgot to get those pics of my push button start. I actually had two attempts at it! HaHa But i'll snap some for you! Hopefully i don't forget again! lol

Marc just out of curiosity why would you ad a spacer and not try and tuck some more tire under there? If I had the option between the two I would definitely go with more tire. With your power I would imagine your ass end might go out on you every once and a while. With a little more tire comes some more needed traction bro. Just a question thogh
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

Most people forget that offset and tire can do the same thing
A beefier tire or a spacer would give you the same result. I'd go with the rubber if you like handling

Chris, the 225/50/16 (Stock size) is still quite beefy, especially for my taste.. If i were to run a larger rim i'd go with a thick setup like frank's running now, but fortunately for the weight of my vehicle, once the tires are up to temp, i get a handful of grip on the fly. Any pulls w/o them at temp, it's all over the place. I can generally spin through into 4th.. ugh.

haha no prob man! No rush on the pics! The stance with those coilovers was quite good. The GTR rims and tires (RT's im running now) sat perfectly flush! i'll try to dig up a pic. Granted, there's a bunch in my build thread

I say r34 gtr wheels! Or even R33 wheels if you want to stay stock. R32 wheels are so homely looking.
