On another note, any reason you won't mention who you purchased them from? I'd make sure this doesn't happen to others. Also use the feedback section.

When dealing with bigger/pricier items, I try to buy from sponsors or the forum veterans who have a lot of good feedback.

Hope things shape up for the better!!
Don't like mentioning names and pointing fingers, that won't get my money back. I don't blame anyone but myself, buying used **** has its risks and unfortunately I got burned, twice. All I wanted to say was mainly think twice before buying any used engine parts, you get what you pay for, good or bad. The guys I dealt with seemed to be straight forward and easy to deal with, so I can't get mad at them. Just really pissed off it cost me over $500 to learn the "hard" way.

That's understandable. I only asked for personal reasons, meaning I dont do business with the same person.

Anyway, best of luck in finding replacement parts. Let me know when you're ready to do your paint job if you need assistance

If it helps I can sell you my rb20 turbo for like $100 or a trade or something. It would be a drop in and hopefully get you by while the 25 turbo gets rebuilt.

    I love my holset
Paid about $850 for mine brand new, and that was with the request of te 6 blade turbine from another holset and not the 8 blade that came with it
Yes these things are bulletproof. They make turbos for so many other engines not automotive, they have the $ and R&D
