steering wheels?

i own a gts4 with hicas. my steering wheel is damaged and ripped up, i hate looking at it. i hear that cars equipped with hicas cant use certain hub bosses? are the splines different?
one more thing, will the S13 hub bosses fit the same given that my hicas myth is busted?

If i recall correectly, the difference is a little pin on the hicas model, so the non hicas won't fit because there is not the hole in the steering hub to fit the pin. However, if my memory serve me well, i sold the z32/silvia hicas hub and they fit right on.

Just get the proper HICAS hub and you will be fine. We sell them for $89, so it's not a large cost. The proper hub will fit well, and not throw error codes.

what if im going to lock it out regaurdless? will i be able to use any other nissan hub?

i have some problem and decided to delete hicas and put my momo wheel. think about it.... do you really need hicas?

If you are going to use the lock out bar, you can use a non-hicas boss kit. Just rip out the hicas sensor behind the steering wheel. It's a plastic thing that sticks out.
