    HCR32 Wheel Fitment Help

    Ok,

Im going to order some new wheels for my car (91' GTS-T Type M)

    Im thinking of
    Front: 17x9 +15 w/ 235/45/17
    Rear: 17x10 +12 w/ 255/45/17

I realize I will have to roll the fenders a bit but I just want to know how you guys think fitment will be and if I'll have any rubbing issues etc. on my coilovers?

    Thanks
    -Ben

Im running 17x9 +15 with a 235/45r17 and 5 degrees of negative camber in the front. This is with a bit of a pull/roll and the car is tucking tire (lots of tire smoke from the fronts at full lock, rubber all over the mirrors and windshield). You'll need a hell of a pull to do it without the camber (repainting fender may be necessary) if you want to run as low as my car is. I buggered up one of the fenders cause the tire caught while turning though. This winter im pulling most of the camber out and putting 20mm fenders on the car along with a 245 front tire....ill run a spacer if i have to to make it fit.

In the rear im running a 245/45r18 tucking rubber on a 18x10 +30 with a minor pull/roll and 2 degrees of camber. It is tight. I plan on running a bit of a spacer and making them like +10 this winter on stock fenders while running a 255 tire.

    Hope that helps a bit.

BTW, i know the rear needs to be lowered more.....

So, do you think my setup as mentioned would work...or I'd just shred tires up from rubbing or what?

You can make em fit with some proper rolling/pulling....also depends how low you plan on going with the car.

If you dont who hariguchi is or if you have to ask if these will fit then maybe you should go for some more conventional offset wheels. I dont mean this in a bad way, just a lot of people arent "down" with the look of stretched tires and pulled fenders. A

nyway....yes...you will require not only a roll but a bit of a pull with those wheels and tire sizes at stock camber settings. Unless you plan on running 4x4 which would be lame. So ya, beyond that, i cant really decide for you...you have to decide what look your going for and if you baller enough to pull it off.

Im baller enough to pull it off....lol

But do you think the amount I'd have to roll and pull would mess my fenders up?

I have some Coilovers and ideally I'd like a "0 gap" situation between the tires and fenders..

Im just curious if it'd be worth it in the end.

I want the 5Zigen FN01rc in Black with Polished lip or Bronze.
