1989 Gts-t Sedan, Sideways With Class

Hi, My name is Chas.. And I am addicted to Nissan..

I made my purchase two years ago, and I have had a steady flow of upgrades since.

My original purchase from "The Skyline Shop" occured shortly after I crashed my 1998 S14/240SX on Sumas Mountain.
I had been discusing an engine swap for my car before the accident, so I was already aware of Steve.
I had always wanted a Skyline, and perhaps it was self fullfilling prophecy that I crashed my 240..
Either way I got a nice car out of it. :-)
    (...and $12,500 a year in insurance costs! :hit_head: )

    Anyhow to continue..

My choice was a silver sedan, with:
    KYB suspension
    Aluminum bushings
    Stainless Brake Lines
    Impul strut brace (front)
    Cusco brace (rear)
    Stainless downpipe
    Gt-R hood
    Metal mesh generic air cleaner
    Impul bodykit
    Impul/Momo Steering Wheel
    Pivot turbo timer
    Custom oil catch tank
    and an Apexi full exhaust.
... And of course, a pair of LOUD Klaxon Horns.

Only 114,000 km, new clutch, timing belt, and fluids, etc,..
All for $16,000 after tax, with a 6 month warranty. :-D

I settled on the sedan for rarity at the time, and accessibility. I was planing on starting a family in the next few years, so a family car was a must.

I cannot however leave a car stock, even if my life depends on it.

Over the course of the last two years I have had the shop install:

    Arnage Hicas Lock-out Bar
    Power Slot Front Rotors
    Hawk Ferro-Carbon Brake Pads
    Battery Relocation To Trunk
    Blitz SUS Power Intake
    Gt-R Front Mount Intercooler
HKS Oil Filter Relocator, and Side Mount Oil Cooler
    TSS Custom Engine Grounds
    Splitfire Ignition Coils
    Splitfire Coil Grounds
    Greddy Timing Belt
Greddy Type RS Blow Off Valve
    Greddy Air Dam
    Custom 20% Over Stock Alternator
    N1 Water Pump
    New Puleys
    Bee-R Rev Limiter
    Turbosmart E-Boost 2
Turbosmart Green Shift L.E.D. / Red Overboost L.E.D.
    Blitz Turbo Timer
    Flex-a-Lite Syclone Fan
Tru-Filter Oil Filter (Stainless Surgical Steel, and Aircraft Aluminum.)
    Nismo Gauges (260 kph)
    Ignited Engine Start Button
    8000w HID

Apexi SAFC Neo.. (Unfortunatly a factory defect, )
^^ The Skyline Shop has already tried to get in touch with Apexi Japan. But since they have declared bankruptcy, my warrenty is useless. So out of the kindness of theirs hearts, I get to keep the Neo as a fancy Gauge Cluster, and they are reflashing/tuning my ecu once my major mods are done! :-D

Also, countless tires/oilchanges.. I have put over 100,000 km on the car thus far.

LGM (the paint outfit at the shop) has also painted my dash accents Graphite, and my valve/timing covers Anodized Blue. They also fixed my mangled front bumper after a rough winter stint (damages)

Purchased items waiting for install include:

    Garret t3/t4 Turbocharger
    Cometic Metal Headgasket
    ARP Head Studs
    Ams-Oil Pre-Luber
    Gt-R Injectors
    Gt-R Fuel Pump

Well.. That's enough for now I suppose. I was bored

I have several thousand invested in blinky lights, and audio too.. But I will add that info som other time if anyone wants to hear about it

(I will post pics when the forum lets me.. Something about not having any posts yet.)
My dong is so long, that if you stretched it out on a keyboard it would go from 'A' to 'Z'... Wait, crap!

Ha ha.. I can take it.

I bought it with the KYB already.. And it handles very well for now.
I have an upgrade upon failure mentality, and I will must likely go with a Tein setup when this suspension fails me.

    On the other hand...

Even with the KYB, this sedan goes sideways steady with great angle.. So check yourself before you shoot off your mouth. :-P

"Chas" is an abreviation of "Charles"

psst... canadianskyline might know a thing or two about getting sideways and suspension setups to do it properly with ease.

Nice little car you've got going though

Psst... I searched his posts, Phenominal car he has.
Seems to drive it too! :-D

He may know a thing or two, but constructive critisism is better than laughing ones a$$ off concerning another persons project.

I learned some time ago that anyone proclaiming to be a "god" in any sport/trade, etc,.. Must be taken with a grain (or two) of salt.
I'm not offended by his comment.. As much as it just came across poorly to me.

    Thaks btw...

The easiest way to make any car better is to tighten the nut behind the wheel.
