    Project: 92 GTS-R

    Whats up everyone.

So here's my project that will be done slowly over the next little while. I'll update as things happen and post pic's.

    The Starting Point:

    1992 Nissan R32 GTS/RB20de

    Her first day home.

As you can see, very stock but VERY clean. Paint/body was mint, she just needed a bath and lil tlc. Prior to doing that though a buddy let me know about Skyline that was being scrapped and I got a set of black GTS-t side skirts and rear spats for only $50.00 :-D . So yeah, I snapped them up pretty quick and put them on. Then I gave her a nice wash, used Mothers scratch remover (that stuff is GREAT) along with that new Turtle Wax Ice car polish. Everything came out great.

STEP 1: Cleaning the exterior, adding side skirts and rear spats.

Now if you didn't notice from the previous pics, there was a bumper scuff on the left corner. After a little of that Mothers scratch remover and waxing, look how it turned out.

    PROJECT OUTLINE:

Exterior: black oe GTR front lip, black wingless or c/f trunk, black GTR or c/f GTR style hood, front brake upgrade, 5 bolt conversion, Work Equip rims, coilovers and an LSD.

    Interior: TBA

Engine: 91+ GTR engine, fmic, HKS SSQV and other goodies.

As stated this won't be done overnight but I'm not in rush. I'll keep you all posted.

    Cheers :-D

Hey thanks Ray I appreciate the comments. I was actually very impressed with how she cleaned up and I'll be staying on top of it to really ensure the body stays clean. It's gona be a slow moving project I think but in the end, it all should be worth it :-D .

I really like your mod approach. Your GTS is so clean. I even notice that you have the GTS grille too. Very nice Skyline.
In the end the gov't will do as they please and if they do kill the 15 yr rule life will go on, and we will find other cars readily available to pour our hearts and wallets into. The Skyline is a great car, but its not the only one. It might be a case of easy come easy go.------------- JZ

Hey thanks Sam, it's cool hearing such nice comments from everyone :-D .

Well a little update, nothing major, but I had my LED bulbs that I never installed in my GTS-t as well a new set of front marker bulbs to replace the ugly yellow'ish ones. Here's a couple of pics on how they look but forgive the quality :P.

    Gauge Cluster LED bulbs.

My new Super White marker bulbs from Raybrig.

As you can see they go perfectly with my headlights...

    ...and fog lights.
