Project: I Eat GTR's For Breakfast

Ya I said it, haha. I have owned the car for nearly 2 years now, and have big plans for it. I don't have any HP goals as of yet, but we will see when the new motor goes in.

I am mainly using the car for drifting, but will probably try out a few autox Events. I will be swapping in an RB25DET engine and tranny, and plan on doing a ton of footwork. However we will see, as money is definatly an issue. :-)

What the car looked like when I first got it.

The swirls were so terrible, but after a decent polish it looks okay.

    Finally bought some wheels

Me trying to drift at Castrol Raceway haha

And now it sits in the garage

    Mod List
    RB25DET (soon to come)
    Greddy M spec FMIC
    Screamer Pipe
    Downpipe
    Catback exhaust with test pipe
    Greddy Profec B Spec II
    Greddy Turbo Timer
    Bee*R Rev limiter

    Exterior:
    GTR Bumper
    GTR Hood and Grill
    N1 Headlights

    Footwork:
    FUCA

I don't have a ton of experience with cars, but I am learning as I go along.
Anywho I will keep this updated as I go along.

Haha ya... But most of the GTR's around here are not like yours :-P Alot of them are bought by parents and they think gts' are ****.

But I bought my car to get into drifting, not really a drag car. However it will just be a bonus to beat a GTR on a 1/4mile run. :-)

yep works very much like antilag, causing a missfire and igniting the fuel in the turbo and exhaust,
if it dosen't kill your plugs, it will be the turbo unless its got and uprated shaft

    I rev'd the **** out of my RB20.

Was always on the rev limiter. I took the motor out, and the turbo is fine, fins are fine, spools good, and very minor shaft play, like next to none and the motor has like 90,000+ kms on it.

I know you hear about this and that going wrong, but no one can prove that it was their rev limiter that caused the damage.

I would much rather hit my ignition cut limiter then my factory fuel cut anyday;-)

curt is right, many people beat there car to sh*t and us a rev limiter with no problems, there is also no proof of the rev limiter been to sole cause of those problems.
