Project: Black Death

Well, Ive been working on it for awhile now but I finally got around to getting some pics. The car is a 1991 GTS4 Sedan. I will be building the car to track it and do some local autocrossing and hill climbs.

This is how it looked when I bought it:

very stock look. The only mod it came with was a catback.

I dont have many pics at this point, but this is what it ended up like last year. I threw on a Greddy FMIC and a JWT Intake. I also cleaned up and repainted the engine bay black.

After parking the car I started stripping it down:

Decided to take off the a/c:

And the turbo:

Shes getting there. With the help of a friend we started gutting the interior to get it ready for a rollcage, including removing the sound deadening:

Now the Interior is pretty much done, we are going to be building the cage soon.
I am thinking gloss white interior with a flat black finish on the outside.

I also did the full timing belt change and replaced all fluids with Royal Purple and Mobil 1.

I am still looking for lots of parts so sponsors let me know what youve got. I would be interested in working out some kind of package so pm me and let me know what you got. I need a turbo, manifold, fuel pump, fpr, injectors, e-manage ultimate, oil cooler/relocation kit, ps cooler, trans cooler, Nismo twin plate clutch and flywheel or a similar quality setup, downpipe (to match turbo/mani setup), testpipe, sway bars, brake rotors and pads, wheels (pref 17"), and GTR front body parts (hood, fenders, and grill), or a front end a/m bodykit, as well as a steering wheel.

I also need some FIA approved race gear including a seat, harness, and race suit

Let me know if I am forgetting some area, I am totally open to ideas/suggestions, I am looking for very good handling above all.

I will update this as the buildup continues, The cage should be started soon and I plan to have the car on the road by the beginning of May so I still have lots of time. Any input is muchly appreciated, I am looking for a turbo setup with minimal lag so I want to know what experiences people have with different setups. I am looking for 350-400hp and I dont want to pull the motor this year either, I am planning to go real big next year so I want a setup that will last me the season. I will also be using blazt consult and datalogit on a laptop, and combining the Profec E-01 with the e-manage.

Gonna look sweet. How long did it take you to completely strip the interior?

It took us about 2 days for 2 guys, thats with lots of breaks. I figure it will be about the same again to sand it and paint it, I just got distracted by suspension yesterday. I did snap a couple more pics though:

heres a few more pics from last weekend. Got the interior primed and i decided to throw the dash and old seat in there to get a feel for it. I like it so the painting will be going ahead asap.
