Hey guys
after a few people bugging me to make a build thread
decided id make one, a little against my will, as i dont think this car is build thread worthy
not going to be as sexy as some of the project cars
but meh
its still my baby

this is the car when i got it

no alt or working battery, no center console really, f@#$ed up steering wheel, bent seat rails, clearcoat on paint chipping, hood effed up, fuses missing everywhere.
pretty much a junk show under the hood, stock rims, headlight clips broken, tach dead, panels cracked, speakers blown, stereo attempted to be stolen..

got her cleaned up, running and electrically sound at the house, wasnt happy with the hood at all.

Got bored for a little, ripped up the trunk and put new carpet in, put new shift boots in, new seat rails and what not.

pics of the baller new stereo (MTX amps, kicker 6x9 rears, pioneer 4x6 fronts, twin 12'' fusion subs, pyle 1600 watt 2 chan amp, 6 farad capacitor)

put in a new fujitsubo downpipe back exhaust with megan racing decat pipe. (not really any pics)

i then cleaned up the center console, got a new trim peice, carbon fibre for the empty DIN, suede shifter boots and a flip down deck

this opens up the engine bay alot

Rollie came over and we put on my shiny new dry carbon hood

test fit the new hadlights, grille and hood

got rid of the GTST latch all together and pinned er down

got some gauges in my room
as well as some silicon rad hoses, nismo thermostat, new tranny fluid, apexi power intake

got a few more goodies coming:

frontline eh? thats where i got mine too. i remember seeing yours for sale there, i never knew it had that many problems :O

yeah it was pretty bad..
problems just started popping up everywhere
not to mention the coolant was literally brown sludge...

how did yours turn out?

Nice car, that CF hood looks great. That looks to be quite the battery box too!

mine is a good car overall...the fenders were dented to sh*t when they got here... assuming from the tie downs in transit... oh and the motor went after about a month. i guess the oil sending unit was pooched and it was burning oil bad. but i bit the bullet and got a newer, less KM, good condition engine..so its cool...

I didnt know much about cars at the beginning so i never said a word when i saw the blue smoke coming out, but thats how i learned!
