    White Out Project

    Ugh...

I found out that when poles and cars crash, poles always win. ALWAYS.

Sh*T happens, boys cry about it, men harden the **** up and gitter done.

My beauty had a little boo boo thanks to me and needs to be repaired.

First day when it got towed from the lot.

    jeebus.

notice the prybar, it helped us opening the hood.

Car runs smooth, no actual damage to charge pipes, rads (so I thought).

    rad support is bent.

I figure it's mostly aesthetic damage, so I will take my time and tackle one thing at a time.

Second day, took off the rebar, headlights (whatever left over), AC grill and Rad.

Under sunlight I saw leak from the rad, it was not just a pinch in the line. The fan hit the rad and I guess it was enough to damage the fins.

    FUBAR

    AC comes off.

AC fan comes off, I don't think that spins.

The rad bar after some "adjustments"

Want any headlight bodies? or projectors?

That's it for now... I am planning on getting this back on the road in near future... I'll rely on GTRC for parts I guess. (hint hint)

Any tips for repair work would be great too.

She used to look like this:

I plan on making it better than before.

    PS:

ANYONE have any knowledge of what this is, and what is not to be removed?

I removed the AC lines and it leaked oil everywhere. (red PS one we think)

Anyone do an AC delete have any comments?

    Thanks.

That has to do with the power steering/HICAS. I wouldn't screw with it if I were you.

    Ouch, sorry to hear.

I think that last photo is the HICAS solenoid for the HICAS at rear of car. I would remove HICAS rack and fit a lockbar, as HICAS rack can have play problems at end of rack and HICAS ECU, etc can play up. There's a tutorial on HICAS removal somewhere on this forum.

The damage doesn't look to bad, might need to drill out the welds and fit a new radiator support. Probably best to put on a chassis alignment machine (Panel beater) to check dimensions and correct if necessary.

ouch sorry to hear your loss man! but take your time fixing it and you will learn alot about the car.. I might have headlights and corners for sale soon... How soon do you need it? Im just in the middle of my retrofit if all works well (w/o toasting my headlights) then i should have spares.

also check your hoses (steering wheel fluid for tiny holes) when i got into an accident my hicas shows every 550KMS.. I haven't thoroughly inspect it but i suspect one of my hoses have a tiny hole to it..
