    Project GTS-R

Well project GTS-R started mid may with a whole new turbo setup and is awaiting the sale of my RB20DET before the RB26 can be rebuilt. My goal is around 600hp on a 2.7L single turbo RB. Nissan N1 water pump/tensioner/idler/timeing belt
    TiAL 38mm wastegate
    TiAL 50mm BOV
    Turbosmart boost controller
Dual 12" electric fans w/thermostatic switch
    Greddy oil catch tank

    Next edition:
Swap out 20 and rebuild the 26
    700cc SARD injectors
N1 oil pump and crank collar
    N1 water pump/tensioner/idler/timing belt
    ARP bolts
    ACL bearings
    Greddy head gasket
    Wiseco Pistons
    Eagle rods
    JUN manifold gasket kit
JUN stage 2R cam kit (valve springs and retainers)
    Greddy oil relocation kit

I would add a N1 shortblock to that list.

If I am going for about 600hp range would the stock block not be sufficient? What are the benefits of the N1 block? What would be your advice on the crank then? Stock should be fine right?

Have looked into N1 block and will most likely do. Curious though if all additional components are the same as for the stock R32 block ie intake manifold, water pump, oil pump etc? Thanks.
