    Project Solo1

Here is my Gts-t as it came from Adam last summer.

I started Autocrossing this year and it's got me hooked on racing. I am currently placed second in the regionals in my class (E-modified) with one event remaining. The plans are to get my car legal for Solo1 Sprints and Hillclimbs. To do so, I need to have roll over protection and an FIA approved seat/harness.

This was the car at AutoX with the stock suspension and HORRIBLE tires.

Here is the car after installing a FMIC and the KYB Climbgear shock with what I belive are RS*R springs.

    Modifications done so far include,

    Engine/Preformance

    -FMIC
-3'' turbo back exhaust with gutted cat and resonator removed
    -Boost controller
-Tomei 1.2 mm HG and ARP head bolts (have, just need to be installed)
    -Powerslot rotors
-Rebuilt Nissan rotors with Hawk HPS pads
-ATF Super Blue racing brake fluid
    -Stainless clutch line
    -NISMO coppermix clutch
    -Deleted Emissions stuff/Carbon canister
    -KYB Suspension

    Interior
-Defi BF Boost and Oil Pressure
    -Sparco steering wheel/ Nismo knob.
-Pioneer Headunit and new Pioneer speakers

    Exterior
    -GTR Hood/Grill
    -Shaved trunk
-White stock Gts-t wheels with RT-615's

    Coming Soon... now HERE!!
    -17x9 5Zigen FNO1r-c
    -245/40/17 Toyo R888 R-comps
    -KTS FUCA
    -KTS Tension Rods

Coming a bit later, planning it to make my car legal for local SOLO1 and goodies for myself.

-Bolt-in Roll bar (have yet to locate one)
-Sparco racing full bucket/5 pt harness
    -Whiteline adjustable sway bars
    -AP Engineering PowerFC
    -HKS GT2530
-Sard 440cc injectors, FPR, Nismo 255l fuel pump.

I also plan to perminantly keep the rear seats out (for sale if anyone wanted them) and re-carpet the whole interior before having a half rear cage built over the winter.

More pics will come soon once stuff starts to get installed. I am trying to get the car better prepped for the next and last regional event with proper suspension settings and wheels/tires.

HKS Hypermax 2 are coming from Japan!

Lol, well so far I'm SOL on finding 245/40/17 R888s. So I might go for Advan A048s.

As for swaybars, they are on the list... well whiteline ones anyways. But they won't be around until the fall. Are the Cuscos $350 for both? Are they adjustable, if not what is the diameter.

Just picked up the tires today from Pt. Roberts... low and behold, they are DOT.

Got the wheels yesterday courtesy of LongliveJDM. Should be test fitted tommorow with the tires to see how much work will be needed.

    Pics soon.

New wheels/tires test fitted on the rear. Fronts will need a spacer to make them work.

Not too much flaring ahead of me, but it'll be done by the end of the week.

They are 17x9'' with 255/40/17 Toyo R888's all around.

    I like.

Whiteline swaybars are solid metal, which are alot heavier and stronger than the Cusco swaybar (I think Cusco are a hollow tube swaybar). This means the Whiteline swaybar can be a smaller diameter, but have similar strength to a bigger diameter hollow Cusco swaybar.

They both work, but each brand has its own downside i.e weight or strength.

Daryl also sent me some stats on the Tanabe ones, How do these sound. How much more stiff will they acutally be, like noticeable? Enough to reduce my roll substantially? See the pic at the top for refrence.

    Tanabe Front Rate: 119kg/0.05m
    Stock Front Rate: 97kg/0.05m

    Tanabe Rear Rate: 119kg/0.05m
    Stock Front Rate: 103kg/0.05m

Also.. if anyone can PM me someone local to VAN who can roll/pull my fenders that would be great. I started doing one, but it's not for me. I would rather someone who has done it before do it.
