    Shane's 89 Gts-t

Just thought i'd jump on the project car bandwagon deal. I picked up my 89 gts-t for dah_hunter on these boards in about February. Haven't done a whole lot to it so far, just some aesthetic stuff. Have plans to get a full GTR kit or if i have the cash a R34 conversion. Engine wise, I haven't really thought of a route to go with, but so far its bone stock except the apexi intake.

    Here's some of the goodies:
    -KYB Sport strut suspension
    -Full Trust exhaust
-Bride seat and rail (for sale)
    -Gtr wing
    -Boost gauge
    -Apexi intake
-Alpine system, entire wiring redone and new speakers all around (painful work)
    -H3 HID's

    Here's some pics in jap.

Here at home with a new gtr wing

Just picked up my Gts/Gtr style bumper, its beat up to the sh*t so I'm starting the body work, still a worthy investment for the mere $20 that the bumper cost me.

    test fitting \/

I also decided to get that depressing gunmetal paint off my rims, so I'm in the process of stripping the paint, sanding and polishing up all the rims, heres a shot if them.

Heres one of the rims completely finished. I'm pretty happy with the clean and shiny outcome.

    Yep, looks good.

Don't forget to spray some clearcoat to keep the shine.

Hey those rims look great. I still got the stock rims on mine. What did you do to polish them. Did you use Emery Cloth or just normal sand paper..??

Just sand paper. I used a heavier grit, then finer, then wet-dry sandpaper. Finished it all off with some "special" metal polish a trucker from the states gave me, I think its the same as the usual stuff. I'll get the actual grits for you though. I warn you. It takes about 8 hours of solid work per wheel to get the results I did. It's damn tedious to say the least lol.
