    Project : GTS-Tom

I know the name sucks but it`s all good. My car is a 92 GTS-T and it performs very well. My name is Thomas I beat the crap out of my GTS-T. I have done endless little mods, work and so on to the car so I thought I would share with the community. Well honestly it's so I can keep track of what kinda **** I have done to it and remind me how Mint it once was...here it goes!

Step 1 : Trade my first car, sexy and clean as **** for a step up in the game. This was big since I was only 17 when I bought and later sold the car.

Step 2 : Acquire skyline! Truth be told I never even thought about buying a skyline until the opportunity to do so came up. Thanks to the boys at ONI-JDM I picked up this minty ass GTS-T. Mitch and the boys are LEGIT! First pics of my car!

    P.S Skyline no likey snow...

    Next came the goodies :
    - JBL 4 channel amp
    - 2 JBL 5 1/4" speakers
    - 2 JBL 6 1/2" speakers
    - Amp Wiring
    - 18 x 7.5 +40 rims and tire

Now it's time for a switch up.
18 x 7.5 wheels and tires are traded for new 17 x 8.5 Rims and tires

Non of the above made it onto my car as the gold wheels sold in less than a month...

One of my tires blew so I took the time to paint the GTS-T rim red with black stripe!

I found dirt cheap OEM GTR rims for sale so I picked those up asap!

Ok ok time for a little update at this point. I started removing trims, logos, emblems and my rear seats.

My dad was getting a bit angry becuase I crammed the garage with rims and tires. I took advantage of having the GTR rims on my car now and painted my GTS-T's for drift bitches...

    Cusco Coilovers!

While I was at the importer picking up Cusco Coilovers I found something else that caught my attention! 17 x 8 +32 Blitz wheels!

Now it was time to install my coil overs and rims. This was when I finally believed the old man I do have to many wheels...

First fitting of the rims and coil overs. They look better but still not the greatest.

Well with the coil overs in and plenty of spares to drift with it was about time I made it to my very first track day.

I was new took some skid pad runs, slid and smoked. Was a good experience. Thanks to Will and Kev the photographers!

Next appropriately enough was the rice fest of Importfest. I was asked by Alex(Assassin) to photograph and participate so I entered and we joked away a day! The windows got tinted and the JBL Speakers were installed not long before the event.

    Now for more updates!!!
    - JBL Speakers, all 4 have been installed to this point
    - Tinted the windows
    - Still in possesion of Amp wiring kit
    - JBL Amp has been returned for warranty and am awaiting the return
    - Blitz wheels have been sold for some much needed green
    - Cusco Coilovers are now dismounted, the rears are making iffy sounds and one is blown I believe.

I think that summarizes a fair bit so now that we are up to speed it's time to go EVEN FASTER!!!

S1DC Private Drift Day at Dunnville

This day went A LOT better than my previous one. No photographers were present just drifting

I did break my speedo and it to this day does not work...

Well caught in the hype I picked up this 240SX...5 speeds of no hicas, no abs, rustless sunroof fun!!!

I sold it later of course to have more cash to throw into my skyline.

No pictures but I replaced my front upper control arms and brake pads yet again thanks to the help of ONI-JDM, top notch fo shizzle.

Now winter is approaching again. I packed my skyline up ready for it to go away and plan on a new season of fun. Some plans for next season include :
    - Stripping of the interior completly
    - Fix the Cusco Coilovers

The car is no longer mint but that's ok, Mint is overrated. The car after all is a 1992...that's old. It now sits with 1/4 of the car spray bombed and some clearly visible bondo. It will all be touched up sooner or later just not right now.

The sanding pad should remove a fair bit of paint as I get ready to spray bomb some more. I also plan on taking out all the trims such as lining, pillar and seats. Sound deadening may also be in the works I will have to see. The thing is when I'm bored I will break something and in the end it's only a GTS-T so it's all good. Hope you guys enjoyed the little write up...

Please don't be scared to drive your car boys...
