    RB20, HKS GT30 project

Some of you might remember who's kit is that, for those who don't, it was canadianskyline's kit when he sold it to someone in Qc who didn't install it, then I bought it from it, to finally buy my R32 and sell it to a friend.

We are three 18 yo friends so we're still learning, but it's a fun project !
    We have to install thse
    HKS GT3037 turbo
    HKS topmount manifold
    HKS wastegate with screamer pipe
    Custom downpipe
    GTR 444cc injectors
    300zx TT maf

and then we'll be able to go and tune the car by a pro !
He's already have a twin plate clutch, fmic, oil cooler... in his car so.

His car at a meet this summer

    Stock motor, RB20DET

Coil pack cover, intake piping, intercooler piping removed

Strut bar, turbo heatsink and everything removed ! We can see the little boy

Now this is where the fun starts, removing oil & coolant lines.

    Voila !

    HKS GT30 vs stock turbo

    stock manifold vs HKS topmount

That's where we are right now, manifold is bolted-on, testfitted the turbo, need to do the oil & coolant lines and bolt everything back.

    Wastegate with custom screamer pipe

So that's it for now, he hopes to hit the 400hp mark with this. He might go 2.2L next year with forged internals.

    Nice.
Im just curious, What your plans are for Oil and Coolant Lines?

IMO you should clean the engine bay with all that room you have now.

with those bigger injectors and a tune (probably a better pump/regulator too) this thing should spool almost as fast as a stock turbo.
