    My Murse Mobilio

Well, I couldn't really think of a name to call this thread. Since I'm a Registered Nurse I think that's fitting for now! lol...

    Anyways, here is my car:

1992 GTS-t Type M that has been modified to R-1 spec

    Bulders:

Mostly myself and the FVI crew

    Purpose:

    - Fair weather DD car (Just bought a second car today - Toyota Levin GT- Apex w/ 20v 4AGE (160hp))
    - Track Events (grip)
*note* This year I'm going to be doing as much auto-x as possible as well as Mission Track meets and possibly on the Island and in Washington too (still looking into a lot of things for track schedules). Next year I hope to be a little more hard core as I get better and get into some more "serious" racing and time attacks etc.

    Current Mod List:

The car came with most things that I could really think of doing to a car to get it track prepped.
    • Roll cage
    • NRG Wheel (in the mail)
    • NRG Quick Release (in the mail)
    • NRG Shift know (also in the mail)
    • Bride Brix bucket seat (trading for GTR seat)
    • S13 or S14 Leather passenger seat and rear seat
    • GTR door panels, front and rear
    • 2 sets of rims - R33 GTR OEM rims 17x9 +30, and Sparco 17x9 +??
    • HID 6000K
    • Tein coilovers
    • Adjustable uppers
    • Front and rear torsion bars
    • 2-Way diff - locks verrrrry easy
    • A few other goodies I forget...nice suspension set up though and feels hella tight
    • Upgraded fuel pump
    • 700cc external injector (pumps some extra gas into the manifold @ boost)
    • Fuel pressure regulator
    • Stainless braided fuel lines
    • Not sure what it currently has for injectors...may be installing GTR 440cc's if they are still stock
    • Aftermarket huge radiator
    • Aftermarket down pipe
    • Test pipe (no cat)
    • 3.5" exhaust (possibly Kakimoto? Sounds great though...not sure what it is exactly)
    • GTR front hood
    • GTR Grill
    • GTR bumper
    Now the fun bits...
    • GReddy TD06L2-20G full top-mounted turbo kit
    • Trust intercooler
    • Apexi Power Intake
    • Z32 MAF
    • Oil Cooler
    • Upgraded cams
    • Balanced crank
    • Exporter (FEAST) figures the car also has upgraded pistons and cylinder head work done to it
    Electronics:
    • Apexi Super AFC (old school - see pics)
    • GReddy Rebic IV (controls 700cc injector into manifold)
    • Techtom Multi Display Monitor MDM-100
    • Pivot RPM monitor and shift light
    • Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD Touch screen head unit

  2. I'm sure there is more that I'm forgetting...I will update as I find new things.

    In the Works:
    • Power FC
    • Electric fans
    • GTR Front fenders
    • Upgraded rotors and pads
    • Track rubber - 615's most likely

PICS!!

Giant top - mount turbo FTW

Injector into the manifold:

Well shielded

Oil cooler in left bumper vent

Going to take out the charcoal canister soon

Installing the HIDs:

Took the bumper off and very firmly zap-strapped the ballasts to the rebar

Taa-Daa!

Also re-wired the little marker lights up. There was yellow bulbs already installed which are exactly what I was going to put in there anyways! HO LED's will be put in, same colour

Now to fix the sad droopy bumper lip...TONS OF ZAP STRAPS!

Mission accomplished, first "mods" completed. Bright lights, and tight lip achieved.

That's it for now! I will add some vids and pics along with information as I change and add things.

Thanks for looking!!!

Looks good chris, that engine bay looks like a pita with all those wires, and hoses.

Yes, that will slowly be cleaned up.I don't know if all the red hoses are necessary. I like things to be neat! I've seen worse...when my Levin lands I'll have more time to do some stuff because I won't have to have the car always running.

Burly - I think that is a well protected area that should keep them safe from the elements even though they are supposed to be water proof! The less things in the engine bay the better

I forgot to mention that I'm also going to relocate the battery sometime soon as well. May also get a different catch can that I can tuck away somewhere better.

THe turbo is badass. The spool starts just after 4K, becomes awesome at 4500, and then is like...OMG WTF FTW around 5500. But really, at just over 4k the car gets very sideways very easy with the locked diff (2-way...whoops *updates mod list*). Have to be careful when it is slightly wet out. I really have to get a vid...it sounds awesome. Once I tweak it more, and am comfortable with it I hope to be at 1.2 bar. I don't think I would ever need to go higher.

I should also mention because of whatever has been done to the engine internally, it revs very smooth and fast. I would like to crack open the block to see what is in it.

I have no idea!! I hope to dyno it soon. Just bought a second car so I have to recoop some funds. I'd be happy with 350-400 at 1-1.2 bar boost.

Thanks for the comments gentlemen! I'll upload a video tonight hopefully.
