HIGHFIV5's RB20--->S13 Project (LOTS OF PICS!)

Sooo I've been accumulating parts for quite sometime now,
and i think im finally close enough to having everything i need to start a
build thread! I'm taking my time on this project and getting it done right
and making sure it looks good! Eventually my S13 will be turned into a drift slut, but first things first...boost and more powaaa!
After the engine swap, i got a loooong list of parts.
Props to CA18Magic for alot of the inspiration!

    Current Parts List

    Apexi Power Filter
    Mishimoto Aluminum Rad
Mishimoto 2 12" Electric Fans with Aluminum Shroud
    Fan Controller
    R32 Crossmember
    Fresh Unmolested RB20 Wiring Harness
    Syko 3" Turbo Elbow
    Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump
    Tomei Universal FPR
    RB20 Gasket Kit

    Parts Waiting to Order

    Innovate LC-1 Wideband With XD-16
    Same side intercooler from CXRacing
    Intercooler Piping
    AEM Tru Boost Gauge/Controller
    Autometer 2 Pillar Gauge Pod
    Vent Gauge Pod
Autometer Gauges (Probably going with Carbon Fibre)
    -Oil Pressure
    -Oil Temp
    -Water Temp

So i got the majority of the things i need to get the engine running, or will within the next week or two! Should be finished within the next month or two hopefully sooner. Im going to college for first year Automotive Tech at the begginning of March, so steady paychecks arent gonna be happening and might slow me down, just a heads up!
    Anyways, onto the candidate!

    This is my 1989 240SX

Yeee the black door is badass, no big :P lol.

Sooooo, heres the progress I've made so far!
Just been picking away at the engine, painting everything i possibly can
to make it look nice and fresh!
The before and afters are epic!
Cant wait to put it all back together and see how she looks.
Just waiting on my Gasket Set, found alot of broken gaskets
    upon teardown.

So this is how she sat at the start.
Take a gooood long hard look at it cause its
not gonna keep this look for long!

I Started tearing down the engine to get everything ready for paint
and see if i can find anything bad.

    Brand new RPS Clutch! Nice.
LOL Love this, dunno if you can see but it says DK :P

Cams looked BRAND NEW! No oil buildup or burnt on, just
    straight shiny!

Continued to tear things down, and found some gaskets in scary shape!
YIKES! Not much left of the turbo gasket!

    Exhaust manifold Gasket broken.

Here she is sittin a little bit naked. :P

    Now onto the paint!
I Think i'll start a new post for paint!

Basically i tried to take pics of everything before, prepped and cleaned, then painted!

    Exhaust Manifold Before

    Cleaned!

    Painted!

    Upper intake before!

    Cleaned!

    Painted!

Lower Intake Before! YIKES! One of the craziest before and afters...

    Cleaned! Major Difference Already!

    After... WOW!

    Valve Covers after a Cleaning.

Thermostat housing, after a cleaning! Really wish i took a before of this one...
im sure you all can imagine.

    Turbo Hot pipe cleaned!

    Turbo Before!

    Turbo Cleaned!

And that was all for that night....pic of everything awaiting paint for the morning!
And oooh teaser of the coilpack cover!

    Thermostat housing painted!

    Turbo Cold Side Painted!

    SEXXY!

And ahh finally the moment youve all wanted to see :P
This is a color combination i actually have not seen.
Black Valve cover, with red coilpack cover!
I went with a low gloss black and a gloss red.
Gives it a nice touch id say!

Wowwy, okay thats enough for now! More updates really soon!
Ive painted the timing cover, and a few other minor things.
All i got left to paint is, the hot side of the turbo and a few pulleys and minor little touches and such.
    Stay tuned!

    Small Update:

    Have finished the painting!
Some parts that have arrived: Syko Turbo Elbow, Gasket Set and exhaust studs, and my power steering pump.
Unfortunately, the exhaust studs that they sent me were the wrong ones, and one of my intake manifold gaskets was broken upon arrival.
The motor will have to wait to be put back together i guess.
Also, my pump did not come with the bolts to mount it.
Anyone know what size the power steering bolts are???
