Keiths soon to be RB25 GTS-T

well, i blew up my transmission about a month ago, instead of putting a rb20 tranny back in, i decided to go with a rb25 swap, anyway, heres a brief history on the car

this is how it arrived to canada

    and then his happened

at this point i purchased the car, first obviously was to fix the body, find a nice set of rims
make it run right, cause it worked terrible when i got it, goal was to make it work perfect
    stock and look decent

so starting with the body work

    got a set of rims

cleaned up the inside a bit, put in a screen, avc-r and turbo timer mounted in glovebox

did a little bit of autocross this summer, was quite fun

this is how the engine bay looked before there was nothing in it, lol

and this is the reason there is nothing in the engine bay

    current list of mods

    4" Apexi N1 cat back
    Apexi Power Intake
GREX Oil Filter relocation kit with oil cooler
    greddy front mount
    nismo fuel pressure regulator
    front strut bar
rear carbon fiber cusco strut bar
aftermarket LSD, ill take it apart eventually and find out what it is
    steel braided brake lines
    Dot 4 synthetic brake fluid
    cusco coilovers
    cusco rear upper control arms
    tein tie bar ends
    Blitz BOV
    HKS Turbo Timer
    Apexi Rev/Speed
    Apexi AVC/R
    Momo Steering Wheel
    clarion touch screen dvd player

    Enkei RP01's
    17x8 front with 215/50r17
    17x10 rear with 255/40r17

    plans for over winter

    full rb25 swap
arp head studs and connecting rod bolts
build a 4 inch downpipe and get rid of the cat to match the rest of the exhaust
possibly have a manifold built, and a top mount turbo (depending on funds)

a good friend of mine owns east coast body and paint here in fredericton, he also does amazing
custom work, like building manifold, hes a great tig welder, and he will be helping me with most
    of the work.

we are also painting the rims and valve covers/timing belt covers, color matching them a mystery
    color for now
i think if i do the top mount we will be installing a AEM version 2 ecu for tuning,

    thanks

the exhaust isnt at loud as i thought it would be, but the stock downpipe and converter probably have something to do with that
it can be loud when im beating on it, but just crusing on the highway, u can actually have a conversion with the person beside u, lol

a little update, picks up 3 rb25 swaps this weekend, the one going in the car is about ready to be dropped in
mounts changed over, ac and power steering changed over from the rb20, valve covers and timing belt covers
off and ready to be painted, im probably going to set the motor and tranny in tomorrow, and start on the wiring,
any anyone wants to throw out some advice for wiring in the series 2 motor, my ears are open lol

we picked up the engines from osaka in montreal, they were great to deal with, gave us good deals, all the engines compression tested at approx 160 across the board, if i need any parts
again i will definitely be going back to them, very pleased with their service

then i can finally put it in storage so i dont have to dig it out of a snow bank again.
