How do you avoid that with external gates then? Ya this will sound awesome but if your sucking water back I could imagine that would be good

by putting them safely in the engine bay like i did. i should take a pic of how dirty my pipes are down there. all it takes is one drive in the rain and maybe a truck ahead that really mists a mixture of water and mud.

ive had to take apart my old blitz once and a buddys once to unseize them. not a fun job.

Are you talking about the blow-off valve, or wastegate?

He's obviously talking about the BOV... How can the waste gate suck in atmospheric air, it only blows out (HOT)... derp.

Ben, the screamer and wastegate is fine. I had that set up for 1.5 years of daily driving in Vancouver. If you got genuine TiAL and go under your car once a while to clean the road grime, don't worry about it at all (except cops and the elderly which is why I re-routed back to downpipe).

That bov location, however will get clogged with dirt/rocks because it's facing forward. Since it's HKS c-clip interface, make it face down perpendicular to the ground will help this, but don't put it facing the tire either (it will get clogged by whatever the tire throws at it).

    Good update!
