hey dude, can you post a pic with the 8000k vvme's on. ive been using vvme for a while and they have good quality hids for cheap. did you do the harness too? ive had 4300,6000,10000 and blue ones on different vehicles.

ya when i pull it out right away i will get a pic but it will be shitty cell phone quality and i used everything that came with the hids except the mounting brackets and zip ties

so today took her to my dads to get her on our hoist and it felt soo good to drive her again, anyways i started to get to work by changing the tranny and diff oils. OMG what a retarted place to put the filler hole on both tranny and diff. I had to use a suction gun to suck up the oil then go and push it into the hole like wtf. I also straightened my headlights out and made it easier to open my hood now. So next on the agenda is next weekend the timing belt will get done and same with the a/c, p/s, alternator belts too

little update:
yesterday new led license plate bulbs went in. should give a nice look and get rid of that old fadded yellow color. Next i replaced my drivers door lock mechanism. Last summer when i went to go lock my door from the outside, and it just felt weird when i went to turn the key. So i locked it and lifted the handle and it was still unlocked. WTF!. I could unlock from the outside but not lock it, i had to lock it all the time from the inside and then when going to close the door had to lift the handle and close the door. Well something stretched in the mechanism and wasnt pushing the rod far enough to lock the door. I picked up a mechanism from skyline_steve and put it in. Low and behold i have a proper locking door again.

Next up i had a problem with my hood latch. It was so damn hard to open my hood that i was pulling the release with two hands and having someone to push down on the hood. Sooner or later i was going to break the release cable. Well some adjusting of the latch and a less stiff spring it know opens great.

Did a couple other small things but with the hoist being busy i couldnt get the time to do my timing belt yet. So next weekend it has to get done.

Next weekend should have a better update and a video with the new gopro camera

Today i installed the hks evc-s and it was quite simple to do so. looks great but just trying to get it set up right was kinda tricky. Thanks to Frankiman, as i was emailing him over the winter to find out more about setting it up as he has one in his car. The car is sooo dirty right now so once she is on the road saturday and get a wash i will take pictures and a video!
