Yep, long time and lots of headaches coming (of which I still feel partly responsible for) but looks/sounds total champion good sir. Sunday!

Thanks for guinea-pigging the adapter, I'm so glad it didn't grenade on startup!

...also feel free to mention I'm making them to order?

Follow up. Worked on it a bit more. Got the exhaust redone. No more side dumps. It has a functional single magnaflow race muffler in the back. Sounds inconspicuous at idle.. and beastly when I open it up.

So. Day I picked it up from the exhaust shop... Gave her some fuel, checked the oil. Picked up my drift spares... and left to go have some fun. Finally.
So I tried for a burnout and failed.

Then I tried again and failed again. (Brakes wouldn't hold me.. and something else was up, you can hear it)

So we proceeded to our drift spot, I knew what was up at this point. Rather pissed off. So I went for it.. or should I said tried, and failed again. As we went to leave here, my fuel pump cut out... and there she sat all night.

Long story, short. Rod knock. Bad. She wont run on her own. Throws tons of blue. Sourcing another motor in time for Nissanfest.

As far as I'm concerened the best option would have been an LS. (haters gonna hate) But my goal was to keep it all Nissan.

The vh45 can be a pretty nasty motor. throw a stroker in there and some nasty cams while you got it out.

I'm just going to keep the motor stock. Throw a little boost at it. It's a factory over built motor, can take a lot. I'm on a time crunch, so for now I will just toss another one in and get some miles on it before Nissanfest. I will forego cams and stroker. I will however make a coffee table of my toasted motor.
