your maf is too close to your turbo, you are going to experience problems.

I disagree. Where the heck else is it gonna go on a single turbo? Ya might be able to get another couple inches away, but my maf is more or less that far from the turbo and it's ran fine for the last 2 seasons. Im assuming your worried about turbulence, but I've seen a lot of single turbo setups with maf's a lot closer than that and they are fine.

suit yourself gents, ive done larger single 50 trim .60/.63A/R turbo this year top mount manifold and having the maf further away from the turbo the easier it was to tune the setup plus with the ease of tune allowed for increased driveability.

Says who, says me, someone who actually experienced the whole ordeal.

Calgary gts Im trying to give you guys some advice but since all of you know everything I guess I shold keep my opinions to myself.

    Cheers ... Chris

You want to post a picture of your setup and how far away your maf is from turbo? If I can make tuning easier it doesnt take much to make a new intake pipe. Every single turbo setup ive seen for rb/sr has had an intake pipe not a whole lot longer than that one (maybe 4 inches or so), i didnt think that little distance would make that big of a deal.
