Project RAK GTS

Ever since I bought my R32 i have noticed its not very fast compared to an R34 or even the heavier R33. Since I don't have the time to travel back and forth to drive faster skylines I decided to upgrade this one. Now I know what your thinking why a GTS not a GTR, Simply because I want to know what it can handle.

The Interior: First thing I did was I cleaned the inside of the car and any part that was damaged was painted or replaced. The main thing I did was I used Leather on the front and rear seats (with red and white REAL Leather) , Replace the entire carpet(RED), And the doors trims (White). Heres a pic of what it looks like.


The Body: Im doing a GTR conversion To the body and it really needs a paint job. I already have a spoiler just wainting for a front GTR look bumper and a Grill. Also I would like a Carbon Fiber Hood but its hard to find.


Mods/Exterior: Heres the list
1) Power locks with remote
2) Upgraded Turbo Timer
3) Apexi Neo Fuel/Air controller(Saves a lot of Fuel)
4) Tein Suspension and coilovers
5) MAF of a 300ZX
6) Nismo 260 KM/H Cluster
7) Nismo Clutch (almost half gone)
8 ) L.E.D Cluster and Climate Control
9 ) H.I.D Headlights
10) PIAA Fog lights
11) New painted Brake calipers
12) Clear Corner lights

What the hell went off in that interior? I probably speak for a lot of people when I say its' not quite my taste, but hey ur car u can do what you want with it....

I respect that you're trying to do something unique...But that looks really incomplete, and imo red and white wouldn't quite be my choice. I would have gone with black leather and suble red stitching etc, or very subtle accents..

So you sold your GT-R because you got beat by a GTS at a track.....That makes no sense what so ever....Stock to Stock a GT-R would walk all over a GTS anyday, so it's obvious this GTS was modified...Why not have kept your GT-R and modified your GT-R......You've (imho) got a better base to start with there...


Mind you a good driver in a GTS would do very well against a notive GT-R driver...Hell I've had guys in way underpowered cars murder me at the AutoX because they've got a nimbler car and are a better driver than me.

Man that fact that u lost to a GTS T in a GTR should tell u some thing not that there better but that ur driving is not as good or there was some thing really wrong with ur car. A stock GTST is down about 100hp and like 80Ft Lbs(or more), yes it is 160kg lighter but thats not enuff...Ohh yea and there is about = GTR's and GTST on this site yet u look at the GTR project car and there are way more and more extream build so that statement about ppl not moding there GTR is just bull ****...
dont get me wrong i love GTST, thats what i drive but i just think that u may have been misinformed

ohh yea just one question do u drive that car year round or just bring it out for Xmas cus its nice and seasonal.

rice is putting a gtr badge on anything besides a gtr...... take it off. or youll get flamed wherever u go. and as for the interior, i like the white console, but it conflicts the black to much, maybe if the rest was mroe greyish or something, and im not a huge fan of leather either, but to each his own, keep us updated, and drop an rb25 in that bitch if i want a chance at beating a gtr on the track like u got beat(not saying its the only way, but imo its the best way)

the complete trunk is off a GTR(for the spoiler) the oppertunity came up and i bought the trunk because it already had the holes in it . Evryone with the Positive comments and sugestions thanks. I am trying to push the rb20 to the limit and im painting the entire interior White.

Man GTS cars have always been underdogs so modding one would be fun. I don't know what to tell you but my driving is not crappy in anyway and the only car I lost to was the GTS. Trust me I was never misinformed I had a R34(different country) before you knew you could import Skylines. A stock GTS has about 60 less HP and considering how the difference between a GTS(2 door) and a GT4(2 door) is about 130KG I think a GTR would be a little more. If the weather is good then I bring my car out so theres your answer. BTW the GTR badge is now gone.

you bought the trunk for the spoiler..... why not jsut buy a gtr spoiler and slap it on your gts like many people do, u dont need the whole trunk

For some one who says hes driving soooo many skylines but yet goes by the fectory spec and for the GTR's thoes spec are just there to be legal there not the truth and MOST ppl know that.. but any ways go on beliving what u want
