Type M without ABS?!

Ok, I'm poking around my Skyline.. it's a 1990 GTS-T type M.. y'know big sexy brakes and all... but I can't seem to see any trace of ABS on the hub assemblies... are the ABS units on Skylines diferent than what's avalable in Canada and I'm just not recognizing them or could I possibly NOT have ABS... in which case my grin will get even BIGGER every time I look at her... I hate ABS!

any ideas?

if I remeber correctly ABS was implemented on later r32's I know for sure 89 ones don't have it, 90... not 100% sure, but I think it doesn't have it

ABS was an option, not even implemented on all skylines. You probably don't have ABS, i know that my GTS-t Type M does not.

mine doesnt.... who cares tho... better to learn with out it i think, learn the limits of your car... ya know? in a safe environment of course :wink:

i am under the impression that all GTR's have it btu it was not standered on the rest.

oh cool... I hate ABS... I thought I was going to have to remove it since I thought it was standard on GTS-T Type Ms and GTRs... Goodie!

I know it's not standard for the 1989 GTR's but i was an option and i don't think it was an option on any Gts-T...maybe the Gts-4 though.

I think they started to put them in 1991+.

Whatever...ABS is a hassle and just another thing to worry about...i mean your brake problems would double if you had a 15 year old car with ABS.
