Okay so this week I'm picking up a Bully stage 3 clutch for my car and will be swapping it day of. In order for me to do this I need to have another flywheel machined and ready to pop in. I was looking into the RB26 flywheel because I know of a few locals who have them, and also I heard they were 3 pounds lighter. So my plan is:
-Rb25det trans mated to rb25det
- rb25det clutch
- rb26dett flywheel
Will this work? And can anyone confirm the weight difference?

Rb20/25/26 flywheels are all the same. No difference in weight variation, though I heard the rumor that the 25 flywheels the lighter one.
And by machining I'm assuming your meaning resurfaced? I hope your not planning on machining 3 lbs off a stock flywheel.

No that was not the plan lol. I read on SAU that the early rb26 fly wheels were lighter and would fit fine on a 25 tranny. I wanted to buy a 26 flywheel, have it resurfaced, and go from there
Yeah it'll fit. Good luck with the weight difference if it's true, 3lb loss on a rotating part awesome weight reduction. Lemme know how it goes, might be something I'd be interested in if it's true.
