OK! so I have a R32 Skyline GTS-T with a RB20DET (63,000KM) I've heard alot of mixed opinions on other forums, just wondering what your guys opinion are in either Brand ,Synthetic or not, and or weights. I'm currently running 10W30 but thinking maybe something else. Lemme know what you think
R32 factory specs are 7.5W30 I do believe

Oil is picked based on oiltemp (buy a oiltemp gauge and workout what suits your engine). Oiltemp varies from engine to engine due to mods, application (road, racetrack, etc), etc.
Read this PDF and note w30 (SAE 30) is factory -

If you use a w50 and oiltemps go above 100 degrees C (not uncommon to see 100-120 oiltemp on racetrack) then the cst rating is close to the w30 at 100 degrees.
7.5w30 is factory recommended due to oiltemps aren't that high, but 5w30 or 10w30 is what you can buy.
For my car Fuchs (German) 10w40 worked for street use.

Oil can affect engine response, hp, idle smoothness, lifter sound (correct oil = quieter), etc.
