Backwards battery question

A friend of mine was working on his car, finished up for the night set the battery back in.
the positive and negative terminals touched backwards, just for a split second. Now the car runs fine, and everything worked except the blinkers and radio, and the battery light and two other lights. Then today all the dash lights and cluster etc stopped working. All fuses are good.

The car is supposed to be taking a trip tomorrow afternoon, so i don't have time to go out and trouble shoot. Looking for the best place to look first thing in the morning. This is on a celica GT4
