    Fuel system failure?

I came back from the beach yesterday and on my way home the gaz pedal died. I couldnt pass 3k rpm and the car was dieing. I had enought roll to take the first exit. I tried starting the car and it keep shutting even after i pressed to throlle to the 3k rpm limit. Since the car can start but not for too long could there be a fuel system failure somewhere?. Its a rb25 in a r32 chassis and the tuner did rewire the fuelpump.

Was the motor warm? I've had this same problem when I drive my r33 without the motor warmed up. This happens even on hot days. In your post it says "first exit". You were most likely on the Hwy........It could be a sticky thermostat and a cold motor. I've never had this problem in my r32 but without fail everytime in my r33.
This is nothing but a guess. Take it for what it's worth.

I tought the same. On a other forum poeple told me it could be a failure from the maf. Would be logic since lately I was running alot more rich.

Check your intake piping and all your couplings.

Your car is going into limp mode which is a safety check in the ecu. Any codes thrown through a consult cable? Maybe both mafs are shot? Could open one up and re-solder the points in there. Cut the seal around the top square bit to get in. Have you replaced your o2 sensor or spark plugs lately? I'd check the regular wear items first.

The swap is not that old. Iam going to stop by and see the tuner if he could have any advice since he did almost everything.

have you tried checking the ecu for codes? if it wont go past 3000rpm it would seem it is in limp mode
the flashing lights should flash you the code if you dont have a consult cable and some sort of software and tell you
which sensor is giving you grief. your tuner should have a program to help you with that
understeer -is when you go off the road and see the tree that kills you
oversteer-is when you go off the road backwards and dont see the tree that kills you

The car is in fact in limp mode. I did a ecu error test and I got 43: tps sensor. I have no clue what cause this and how to fix this. Back on google.
