While checking my ecu for fault codes today, one popped up. It was 34, for the knock sensor. What would cause this and how can i correct this? r32 gts-t

Knock sensor is essentially a microphone that picks up detonation in your engine. You can manually throw that code by tapping the block beside the sensor when its running. If your knocking you are detonating or leaning out, in turn it will tell the ecu to retard your timing till it stops. Sounds like you may have a fuel delivery issue or something related. How are the fuel filters, there are 2 on our cars, one in the engine bay, one in tank. I resolved my issue by cutting and grounding the blue/red wire coming off the fuel pump in the trunk. The wire basically feeds the pump low voltage when at idle or cruising, then the pump switches to high voltage when under load or boost. Cut the blue/red wire on the pump side of the plug and ground it to the chassis, that way the pump will only be fed a constant 12v feed instead of 6 and 12v.
Its worth a try, lemme know if it helps.
