clutch noise

hey all, hcr32 clutch is making a very obnoxious loud ting/squeeling sound when in neutral+idle. all it takes is me putting my finger on the clutch peddle to make it stop. is this just because the peddle linkage is loose? the car shifts fine, the clutch seem so have plenty of pop in it so to speak. any input? thoughts?

It's likely the release bearing.
