Arrow Is this the tranny fill plug?

Howdy, just wanted to double check with y'all about this. From experience on many other cars this looks to me like a fill plug which I would fill until it overflows out of that hole. Its on the passenger side, right below the shifter. First pic.

However I don't have a clue what this second square plug is. Same side but closer to the front.
I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

this is from the z32 turbo fsm, but it's very similar, and conveniently online

The bolt in your first image is the "select check plug". Don't undo that.

The plug in you're second image does appear to be your filler hole plug.

Be sure to use a GL-4 gear oil.
GL-5 is bad for the transmission.

Additionally, the the slave cylinder is on the outside of the the transmission, so there is not access point for bleeding the clutch.

You sure on that one bud? That 17mm square plug in the second pic has liquid gasket and is tight as ****. Just doesn't look like a conventional fill plug.
If I don't get confirmation in the next couple days Ill just fill from the top and stop just short of 3L.

The square 17mm bolt on the side is your fill plug. Get your car level and fill till it pours out, put bolt back in and go. Your slave cylinder is on the opposite side and yes it does have a bleed nipple.

Before you go and drain out your tranny fluid, take the car for a rip and heat the tranny up to normal operating temperature. That will make getting the fill plug to break loose a lot easier. Also, IMO use some Royal Purp Syncromax, your tranny will thank you for it.
