Occasional hesitation

My car has started to hesitate in the lower rpm range. I read the hesitation thread already and all that I've done thus far is clean my maf. What I'm wondering is, is that if it happens only once or twice a day, does that rule out sparkplugs and coilpacls? If those were bad, it would be more of a constant issue no?
I have a GTR fuel pump sitting att home, should I bother installing that?

Check fuel pressure, test for boost leaks with propane or compressed air. Clean your AAC and IAC valves. Set your TPS to .48-.50Volts. Make sure your butterfly valve in your throttle body is closing all the way. Set CAS to 15 degrees BTDC. It could be your plugs or coils, change your plugs if they have more than 10000kms on them. Test your coilpacks.

when my coil packs failed, there would seem to be no hesitation until they warmed up. Problem started out only a couple times a week and slowly progressed to every day. They are pretty easy to change.. and a good upgrade aswell.

how about a clogged catalyctic converter will this cause stalling, rough idle and hesitation?

Normally a clogged cat doesn't cause idling issues since the real exhaust pressure are only produced while driving. Unless the cat is effectively 100% blocked, in which case the car wouldn't even start. But you would have noticed issues before getting to that point so it's very unlikely.

You will notice that the cat is clogged when you try to punch it and nothing happens.

I would look for boost/vaccum leaks if you have a rough idle and stalling issues.

I had the same problem ,it was the o2 sensor was to old and faulty ,changed it 72.00 part . It runs and idles like a dream hope this helps . I had no codes as well .

I had a similar sounding issue and it turned out to be coilpacks too. They get old and cracked and crappy. Splitfires fixed everything!

For some reason I think he has some major hesitation now, car just won't go anywhere lol
