Talking Probably a dumb question with the simplest solution but I can't figure it out!

Getting ready to install my fmic and I notice a lot of ppl use the hole where the horn is for a top bolt hole. When I put the fmic there I'll have to move the two horns right? And if so, where? The play on my cord isn't much at all but appears to be just on wire going to each. Can I splice in some more wire to make it longer and then attach one on each side of my rebar tucked out of the way? Is that possible or will the horns not work anymore? I know this is a noob question probably, but I just dont wanna **** anything up

extending the wires for your horns wont affect them, make sure they have ground tho

The mounting bracket is what grounds them right? So say I were to do what I said and put them attached to the backside of the rebar, as long as the mounting bracket is screwed onto the rebar it should be grounded right? Or do I have it wrong lol

by the ''rebar'' do u mean the tow hooks? and how do u plan on attaching the brackets to them? regards to that yes the mounting bracket is essentially the ground for the horn
